You are more than welcome to bring your group in to just skate and pay general admission at the door. Just make sure to leave all food, cake, drinks, and presents as none are allowed through the door unless included with a pre-booked party package. We are serious about this one! We will make you return your cake and/or other food items to your car!
No outside food or drinks will be allowed in the building except for a personal refillable water bottle. Should you arrive with food or drinks you will be asked to return them to vehicle prior to entry.
All youth aged 17 and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult aged 21 and over. Everyone who enters must pay admission, whether they are skating or not, except for non-skating adults who are chaperoning a child under 17.
The chaperone must present a valid photo ID with date of birth. One chaperone may accompany no more than four guests ages 17 or younger per day. Guests ages 17 years old or younger who are found inside Skateworld unaccompanied by a chaperone will be subject to ejection. This chaperone requirement applies to all Skateworld visitors and membership pass-holders.
Everyone through the door pays admission whether they are skating or not, the only exceptions are for non skating adults chaperoning a child under 18.
Unfortunately, only skaters are allowed on the skating floor. If you have a child who needs assistance we recommend practicing on the carpet first until they feel confident enough to try out the floor!
Sorry - once you leave the building you must pay to re-enter.
We have both roller skates and inline skates for rent.
Roller skates: Toddler size 6 up to Adult Men's size 16
Inline skates : Junior 13 up to Adult Men's 13 (runs large)
You are welcome to use your own skates as long as they pass our safety inspection. Our safety inspection consists of: making sure they are in good working condition, cleanliness (no dirt stuck in the wheels or toe stop/brake) and making sure there are no dangerous bolts sticking out. All skates must have toe stops or jam plugs.
We suggest giving our Saturday morning Skate School a try first. This is a group lesson and includes 30 minutes of instruction plus some free skate time to work on the skills learned. Please be sure to have waivers filled out prior to checking in and arrive 15 minutes before the class time.
Attending Skate School will give you a chance to meet our instructors, get a feel for their teaching style, and arrange your personalized lesson with the instructor of your choice. Their cost starts at $30 for 30 minutes, but can vary based on the individual instructor.
For your health & safety, socks are required to be worn when skating. This also helps us to keep the place (and our skates) healthy and clean for our guests. Socks are sold onsite for your convenience.
